The Council of Health Insurance (CHI) signed a strategic and the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) signed a strategic cooperation agreement to exchange expertise and transfer knowledge between them, on Monday, November 6, at the CHI headquarters.
The agreement, signed by Dr. Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Dossary, President of GASTAT, and Dr. Shabab bin Saad Al-Ghamdi, Secretary General of CHI, aims to raise the level of cooperation and enhance coordination and integration of efforts in the areas of specialization of both parties, in addition to developing institutional capabilities to serve the public interest by enhancing quality and efficiency in order to provide the best services to beneficiaries.
GASTAT and CHI seek to exchange technical, knowledge and expertise support, cooperate and coordinate in providing data in accordance with regulations and systems to expand the circle of benefiting from them and raise the level of services using the latest modern technical means within the framework of activating digital transformation.
The CHI's official spokesperson and Executive Director of Enablement and Supervision, Dr. Nasser Al-Juhni, stressed that the CHI will continue to conclude strategic partnerships with leading entities in order to enhance the quality and efficiency of services provided to beneficiaries.
Al-Juhni clarified that the agreement inked between GASTAT and CHI aims to enhance collaboration and synchronization between the two entities, particularly concerning data concerning insured beneficiaries and healthcare facilities covered by the health insurance system, in adherence to relevant laws and regulations. The objective is to ensure that they can fully access their entitlements for protection and healthcare, alongside efforts to improve the sector's quality, efficiency, and overall advancement.
