RIYADH, September 21 - The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) and the Council of Health Insurance (CHI) have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today, aiming to bolster cooperation and exchange expertise in pursuit of their shared objectives.
The MoU, signed by Prof. Dr. Aws bin Ibrahim Al Shamsan, Secretary-General of SCFHS, and Dr. Shabab bin Saad Al Ghamdi, Secretary of CHI, outlines several clauses aimed at establishing a general framework for cooperation. The partnership will focus on delivering technical services, training, and exchanging insights in areas pertinent to their mutual activities, striving for a synergistic alliance.
Both SCFHS and CHI are looking forward to elevating the quality and efficiency of their services by collaborating in numerous fields. Noteworthy among them are education, training, research, and decision-making support. Furthermore, the agreement emphasizes sharing and exchanging data in compliance with requisite regulations and organizing joint training workshops and courses.
Commenting on the partnership, the official spokesperson for CHI, Executive Director of Empowerment and Supervision, Dr. Nasser Al-Juhni, stated that the CHI is perpetually committed to refinement, development, and keeping abreast of contemporary changes. This ensures that beneficiaries are endowed with their full entitlements to high-caliber health protection and care.
Dr. Al-Juhni further reiterated that the agreement between SCFHS and CHI aims to augment collaboration across multiple sectors, including education and training. Such an alliance facilitates the qualification of talent and the honing of abilities, alongside the continuous activation of technological shifts and leveraging shared data, all in the public's best interest.
