Riyadh –
The Council of Health Insurance (CHI) participated as a platinum sponsor in the International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) Conference held in Amsterdam from October 21-22. This participation aligns with CHI's pursuit to lead globally in prevention and in enhancing the quality and efficiency of health services provided to CHI beneficiaries.
CHI's presence at the conference was marked by the participation of Dr. Nebras Abu Al-Hamayel Director of Beneficiaries' Health. Additionally, CHI co-hosted a joint session with ICHOM, broadcasted at the Global Health Forum, where they discussed partnership objectives aimed at harmonizing and standardizing patient-reported outcomes data. CHI's role includes developing a unified data collection pathway, training and engaging stakeholders, raising awareness about patient-reported outcomes, and ensuring alignment within the health system.
At CHI's booth, attendees were introduced to CHI's key programs and initiatives, which focus on delivering distinguished health services to beneficiaries in the Kingdom. These initiatives emphasize quality-based healthcare practices.
Ms. Eman Alturaiki, CHI's official spokesperson and Executive Director of Customer Service Excellence, highlighted the importance of participating in ICHOM Conference to exchange expertise and unify collaborative efforts. Alturaiki explained that CHI, in coordination with relevant entities, is working to advance value-based healthcare, which in turn elevates the quality and efficiency of services for beneficiaries. This initiative supports building a national framework that promotes the adoption of value-based healthcare practices and facilitates sharing Saudi Arabia's expertise on a global scale.
