The Council of Health Insurance “CHI" achieved two InsureTek Gold Shield Awards for Excellence. This came after (iHub) won the Innovation Award, and after (CHI Beneficiary Journey) won the Customer Experience Award. These awards were won for excellence in the sector over the past years, and for efforts to empower beneficiaries.

CHI achievement of the two InsureTek Gold Shield Awards for Excellence, in its seventh edition, comes as an extension of honoring distinguished individuals and organizations according to precise criteria, which are arbitrated by a jury that includes a group of experts and specialists.

CHI's receipt of the two awards coincides with the organization of the InsureTek Conference held at the Mövenpick Hotel, Riyadh. This conference is considered the largest event in insurance industry in the Middle East as it brings together key industry players, as well as technical SMEs and local and international speakers.

CHI will participate in the sessions of the InsureTek Conference. Dr. Ahmed Al-Damas, Executive Director of CHI Cyber Security and Risk Department, will give a speech in a dialogue session entitled (Cybersecurity, a priority in the insurance industry). Meanwhile, the Consultant, Eng. Abdullah Al-Sharqi, will attend and participate in another dialogue session entitled (Digital Transformation and Innovation in CHI).

InsureTek Conference provides a comprehensive platform to showcase outstanding innovations, understand health insurance industry trends, get to know its target audience and learn productivity strategies to effectively reduce costs.

For his part, the CHI official spokesman, Executive Director of Empowerment and Supervision, Dr. Nasser Al-Juhani, affirmed that CHI will continue to harness all its efforts to serve the beneficiaries and strive to provide the best effective high-quality services.

He pointed out that the use of technology and digital transformation is key themes of CHI's strategy, which receive great attention, in view of their role in promoting innovation and finding modern solutions to the challenges facing the health insurance industry, in addition to their significant contribution to facilitating transactions between the relevant parties.

Al-Juhani indicated that CHI's achievement of the two InsureTek Gold Shield Awards for Excellence, following the winning by (iHub) of the Innovation Award, and after (CHI Beneficiary Journey) won the Customer Experience Award, is a new achievement that adds to the series of achievements and successes of CHI. This new achievement motivates us to move forward towards continuing the journey in order to provide everything that would empower the beneficiaries and provide the best services in the easiest way, which will be generally reflected in development of the industry.

The official CHI spokesperson concluded his speech by emphasizing the importance of participating in the InsureTek Conference to exchange experience, increase knowledge, and activate cooperation between relevant parties in the industry to promote innovative modern solutions and face challenges.​
