By adopting the unified visitor insurance policy for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Cooperative Health Insurance Council aims to provide esteemed visitors with health security that guarantees them basic insurance coverage for applicants for an entry visa to the Kingdom for the purpose of visiting - extending it - or for the purpose of transit. For whom coverage is limited under this policy.
The first section of the document includes the definitions, which means all the terms explained, corresponding to each one, wherever they appear in the document or its appendices or annexes.
The second section includes compensable expenses, such as actual expenses incurred for services, materials and equipment, not excluded in the third section of the policy, provided that they are prescribed by a licensed physician due to an illness to which the insured was exposed, provided that the expenses are necessary, reasonable and usual in the time and place. in which it occurred.
As for the third section, restrictions and exceptions, which are the claims that arise from the beneficiary for the purpose of covering them, the visitors' insurance policy will not cover these claims, nor will it cover health benefits specifically in the case of claims arising directly from what the policy specified.
As for the general conditions of the visitors' insurance policy, Chapter Four included 16 conditions for those eligible for insurance applying to obtain an entry visa to the Kingdom - for the purpose of visiting, extending it, or for the purpose of transit, as well as all their companions, as stipulated in Council of Ministers Resolution No. (180) dated 1435. /2/5 AH.
